The problem isn't about Europe. It's the damned greedy supermarkets refusing to pay the farmers what they agreed on. They are in fact liars. I completely understand the farmers' anger but improving the well-being of hens isn't the cause. It's progress. I only ever buy free range anyway.

This reminds me of how everyone was complaining in the UK about rules on insulation improvements in houses. The UK is still the worst country in Europe for insulation in new builds. And yet fuel prices are going up and up literally every trimester. Are the rules to blame? I think not.
