Bit quiet out there?

Hello Humans,
I try to keep abreast of latest happenings in the ultra depths of downtown Huelgoat. But it seems to be slow on the streets out there! No landings, no extra-terrestrial activities and only the moles in Colley's garden keeping Huelgotians paramountly aware of a different form of life, albeit small, furry worm eating creatures that rarely see the light of day! I have not managed to come over as oft as I wanted to due to other commitments (as opposed to "committal" which some of you would prefer for my miserable self!). But! I am still around with a bleating heart which nags me to return. So watch out for the usual ripples on the lake as the silver Volvo er sorry Subaru surfaces from the underwater time-warp tunnel in the continuum of wet-wipe intergalactic travel. Lock up your daughters... indeed lock anybody up if it looks as though they are able to move. The stillness of life attracts and offers a benign calm after the hullabaloo of UK mayhem! So, hopefully see ya all in April, but with this amount of notice, you'll all be gone and I'll find a deserted town with just the inner doors of the Brittany Pub swinging back and forth with their usual snap-snap sound. "OK Tonto; let's ride on to Carhaix.........." (and if only the Lone Ranger knew what "Kemo Sabe" really meant....!)

Surely there are more people out there? Hey Mark, can't you link the forum to "Twitter" or something? Whilst my eccentric musings are designed to entertain, I certainly don't want to be accused of being selfish. Perhaps a blog linked to others in Huelgoat (I can think of two), or at least, they linking to you!
We all know that Huelgoat is the centre of the known universe, perhaps the unknown as well? Within my murky and less than substantial past, when I was Chief Overlord on the planet Grim-Lest-We-Know-Better, the Huelgoat forum was the ONLY deviation that was not classed as a deviant pastime! There were loads of subscribers and reading the forum was allowed and classed as "Betterment" for the lowly and unwashed!
That said... where's the soap?
So, your publicity machine needs oiling somewhat... or is it that everyday Huelgotians (Rhymes with Martians) need a rocket somewhere to gain their contributions to the Forum?
Perhaps a "Sandwich Board man" or an advert in "Country Life" might work. Or a "Back-hander" to any Town Criers?
Otherwise, cries of "We're Doomed" will echo from the general populace!
The Bingle awaits an answer before unleashing total mayhem and a few locusts....

I guess the reason there's not much on here is because Huelgoat is pretty dead at the moment.

The only bit of news I can give you is bad news - at least for me - because my friend Sue from the Tregont has retired which means I have to find somewhere new to eat in town. Not easy! She's sold up and is going to take it easy. The good side is I'll get to spend more time with her... and Peter. ;-)
