Berrien: Staggering distance? Empty Berrien: Staggering distance?

Hello good people.

We'll be visiting at the end of Sept/start of Oct (going back just before the Food Fair Crying or Very sad ) and will probably be staying in a gite in Berrien.

What we'd like to know is how long it takes to walk from Berrien into Huelgoat? I know it's not a massive distance and we're pretty keen walkers, but if I know how long it will take us to get there, I can calculate likely return times when a good few bottles of wine down the line.....

Also, does anyone hire bikes out at that time of year?

I have "staggered" at 4 in the morning from Berrien to Huelgoat. There is no way I would recommend the uphill reverse stagger.
No bike hire as far as I know it closed 6 or 7 years ago.
